Microns are tiny measurements that the textile industry use to measure the fineness of a single woolen thread, with 1 micron being equal to one thousandth of a millimetre. These 21 micron threads are thicker than that of our Super150S fabrics, which in turn allows for the weave to be looser, resulting in the garment becoming more breathable but just as durable. This is why the 21 micron fabrics are particularly well suited for spring and summer suits, and by deliberately choosing full-bodied yarns, Vitale Barberis Canonico have come up with a fabric that offers great crease-resistance, texture and character.
